A Little Change of Pace
3 Oct 2013
I kind of wish I had of picture of this (maybe…), but last night, I fell asleep with my glasses on at 9pm. Eric gently woke me around 10 and helped me get to bed. I have no doubt that it was hilarious. I was going to write a blog post before I went to bed, as is the usual around here, but I just could not. After many hours of vivid dreams about mini golf, swimming in the Olympics, and a lot of poodles, here I am. I am definitely feeling better today than I did yesterday (this is continued coverage of the Accursed Cold of 2013), so maybe that’s just the thing to do sometimes. Today I am determined to get out into the world (first stop: library!), and I’m hopeful that I can summon some creative energy to get back into some of the projects that have been lying fallow for a week or so. The Santa Anas are supposed to blow in tonight. I made sure we brought the ladder in from the balcony (where it was in the process of being converted into an easel!), so we’re ready. I hope the winds are gentle this year, and I hope they blow this sickness right out of my life. I’d be pretty much eternally grateful.
